Abstract

Problems in the agricultural sector are often complex, involving deep knowledge, management, and information access for farmers. An innovative solution proposed is the development of chatbots to provide real-time information and support. This study explores the use of Large Language Models and Google DialogFlow platform in developing chatbots specifically for the agricultural sector. The main objective is to compare the effectiveness of both methods through a comprehensive direct comparison. The results show that chatbots developed with Large Language Models (LLM) are more  effective in terms of responsiveness, context understanding, and answer quality compared to chatbots using Google DialogFlow. These findings emphasize the importance of selecting the right technology in chatbot development to maximize benefits for the agricultural sector.
