MODAL DAN HARMONIC ANALYSIS PADA PLAT KOMPOSIT DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SIMULASI KOMPUTER

In the previous study, modal analysis had been used to predict the natural frequencies and mode shapes on structure. This study aims to determine modal analysis on GTR/HDPE composite. A laminated composite beam of length L, width b and height h made of N layers of orthotropic materials is modelled. Fiber angle orientation and stacking sequence of composite material are set as design parameters. natural frequencies and mode shapes are observed as design criteria. Based on the simulation results, The natural frequency of GTR/HDPE composite cantilever beam varies from 7,4099 Hz to 29,634 Hz.
