The quality of electricity supply is very important in every power grid, especially for electricity customers. About the quality of this power, many questions are asked by customers, among others, whether the equipment used for 6 months has decreased its power quality, washing machines, refrigerators, electric drills, and others experience waste and increase costs after being used for a long time. The technicians have not can provide certainty because they only can repair electrical equipment. As a researcher, I strive to help technicians with studies of power quality and cost as a guide/guide if at any time there are questions from customers. Through the measurement method with the Power Quality Analyzer tool and the calculation of 5 (five) pieces of equipment before being filtered, the power factor value of the fan is 0.879, the electric drill is 0.76. The results of the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) currents are that the fan is 8.77%, the grinder is 10.56% and the electric drill is 27.37%. In connection with these three categories of tools that are not qualified according to IEEE standards, the efforts made are to install filters. The results obtained by the power factor of the fan and electric drill become 0.9. Furthermore, the Total Harmonic Distortion Fan decreased to 4.58%, Electric Drill decreased to 4.95% and the Grinder decreased to 3.52%. The result of operating costs and energy fan equipment operating costs decreased by Rp. 0.0006075,- and its energy decreased by 12.38%, Gerinda's operating cost decreased by Rp. 0.00054 and the last 11.37% energy reduction Electric drill equipment decreased operating costs by Rp. 0.000495,- and its energy is down 19.29%.
