Abstract

Salt Washing Machine is one of the salt processing machines by washing until clean the salt to be processed. Salt Washing Machine serves to clean the salt until the results are clean. The operating mechanism of the salt washing machine consists of several stages. The first step is to enter the salt water into the reservoir. After that, add the salt to be washed. Then, the salt will be washed by the Mixer with old water in the reservoir. After passing through this section, the washed salt will be shifted to the screw conveyor which will rise and drain, because the screw position is tilted with the aim that when the salt rises to the output section there will be a separation process between salt and water. This machine uses a 2600 Rpm diesel engine with a power of 8 Pk as a mixer and a 1500 Rpm diesel engine with a power of 5.5 Pk as a screw conveyor drive. The transmission system uses a pulley and a V-belt which from the diesel engine is then forwarded to the pulley.
