Abstract

There are many home industries in Banyuwangi, especially the processing of traditional cakes and bread. One of them is the home industry in Gitik Village which has 4 production employees and 5 employees selling traditional cakes around. The cake making every day is about 200-250 cakes with a variety of traditional cakes. This home industry often gets orders from offices. However, the machine still has around 1-3 kg of wheat flour base and uses a diesel machine in operation. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a vertical dough machine that has a larger capacity and is automatic to increase the effectiveness of traditional cake production. This service activity consists of several stages, namely advanced surveys and machine design. The next step of adjusting the engine to the partner's condition is that the partner has 900watts of electrical power. After the machine is evaluated and successfully carries out the dough stirring process between 1-6 kg, Then They socialize with partners on how to use and assist in making traditional cakes. The results of the mapping were obtained from the results of solar savings for diesel machines of Rp. 20,000 and time efficiency on 6 kg dough of 20 minutes.
