PENGARUH TOTAL ANGKA KERUSAKAN JALAN TERHADAP KECEPATAN KENDARAAN PADA RUAS JALAN ANTARKOTA

Abstract

Traffic performance on the Pare-pare – Sidrap axis road has decreased. This can be seen from the road damage and vehicle slowdown that has occurred at several points. This research aims to identify how road damage affects vehicle speed on the Pare-pare – Sidrap axis road. The road section being reviewed is the Pare-pare – Sidrap axis road, to be precise at KM 177+000 to KM 178+000. The research was carried out by first dividing the road section under review into 20 segments of 50 m length. The data taken in this research is the condition of road damage and vehicle speed. Road damage was measured using the binamarga method and vehicle speed was measured using a speed gun. The analysis in this research was carried out by looking for a linear regression model of the influence of the total number of road damage on vehicle speed. The results of the research show a linear regression model of the relationship between the total number of road damage and vehicle speed, where the resulting model is y = -0.2083x + 37.424 with an R² value of 0.1293. This model shows that if the total number of road damage is higher, the average vehicle speed will be lower. However, the R2 value shows that the total value of road damage does not have a significant influence on vehicle speed on the road section under review
