Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has devastated tourism life in the world including Indonesia from the end of 2019 to the beginning of 2022 through the limitation of human spatial movement. At the local level, this impact is also felt by the Bukit Mahoni ecotourism destination in Bangun Rejo Village. The proposed problem formulation is related to the impact of the pandemic as a catalyst for the transformation of community resilience culture in traveling and as a manager of ecotourism destinations that are responsive and resilient to disruptions, crises, and disasters that can change massively. The transformation of resilience culture in ecotourism areas is characterized by changes in behavior patterns and patterns of social interaction through community and stakeholder concern for environmental, social and cultural conditions. This research aims to formulate a responsive and resilient resilience culture transformation model as a catalyst in strengthening sustainable ecotourism. This research is important to do as an effort in measuring, identifying, and analyzing the values of cultural transformation to form a model of community resilience in ecotourism areas. This research uses mix methods as a way to accommodate quantitative and qualitative data in a freely measurable manner using tools that are in accordance with research in the field to strengthen research data from various written sources as well as respondents and informants.
