Abstract

This research is a bilingual dictionary application designed for Internet of Things (IoT) terms, namely IoT dictionary that assists English lectures for computer and network engineering students. The goal of this research is to create a bilingual dictionary of IoT terms with voice features for English pronunciation and personalization of word lists which effectively used and can be accessed by the community in line with the research roadmap of the Electrical Engineering department, viz in the field of information and communication technology (ICT development, IoT, and Artificial Intelligence). The procedure consists of two phases, the first phase is system analysis in the form of problem analysis, system architecture analysis, functional analysis, non-functional analysis, and system requirements analysis, namely a list of terms in the form of bilingual IoT terms as a dictionary database. The second phase is system design in the form of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and interfacing to generate a bilingual digital dictionary of IoT terms that utilize flutter for application development. IoT dictionary is available online and can be downloaded via the official website.
