PELATIHAN DAN PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI AKUNTANSI MANUAL DAN KOMPUTER BAGI GURU SMKN 1 SINJAI

Abstract

Indonesia has more than 14,000 vocational secondary education units. The 2021 data shows as many as 5,249,149 vocational high school students. Vocational high school graduates not only receive a secondary education diploma but can also obtain a competency certificate after passing the Competency Skills Examination (UKK), which can be used to find employment in the industrial or business sectors.

In the implementation of the UKK in 2023 at SMKN 1 Sinjai for the competency field of accounting, specifically in manual and computerized accounting, the results could have been better. Out of 54 test participants, competency results were obtained for 19 people. From the overall examination results, students' abilities still need to improve in manual accounting and computerized accounting, essentially the two basic competencies in Accounting should possess.

The activity was carried out by providing training to enhance the competency in manual accounting and computerized accounting for the teachers of the Accounting Department. The results of this activity were an increase in competency and the creation of competency test materials that align with industry needs and the assessment standards of external examiners. Also, the practice modules can be used to prepare students for the UKK.
