PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DI UPT SPF SDN PAMPANG

Abstract

The problem of waste is often considered a simple problem. However, the waste problem is not as simple as one might think. Waste management is a priority, must be implemented systematically, comprehensively, and continuously. Basically, teachers and education personnel of UPT SPF SDN Pampang Kota Makassar (PKM partners) already have basic knowledge about how to manage waste. The problem faced by partners is that there is no information obtained about classifying waste into five types and sorting techniques, as well as making ecobricks that comply with GEA quality standards. The purpose of this PKM is to increase partners' knowledge and skills in managing waste and utilizing their plastic waste into ecobricks. The methods of implementing PKM activities used are: 1) Counseling on how to manage waste and utilize plastic waste into ecobricks, 2) The PKM team demonstrates how to manage waste and utilize plastic waste into ecobricks, 3) The PKM team conducted training to partners on how to manage waste and utilize plastic waste into ecobricks in accordance with GEA quality standards, 4) Providing equipment to manage waste to partners. After the implementation of PKM, there was an increase in partners' knowledge and skills about waste management and utilization of plastic waste into ecobricks.
