Abstract

Nisombalia in Maros Regency is one of the villages supported by the Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic and produces sweet potatoes. The partner's problem is that sweet potato production is relatively high and is only marketed in fresh form, this material can only last for a maximum of 3 days, so sometimes a lot of the harvest is wasted because the partner doesn't know how to process it into a product that is worth selling. The aim of this program is to empower people who are not economically productive but have a strong desire to become entrepreneurs, so that this program is expected to provide added value and economic value to sweet potatoes, namely by processing them into sweet potato stick products, sweet potato chips and fantasy sweet potatoes. The specific target achieved is the formation of economically independent community groups with entrepreneurial activities processing sweet potatoes that are ready to sell. The hope for the future is the improve the community's economy. This activity is carried out in the form of activities that are comprehensive, meaningful, complete and sustainable, namely processing, packaging and labeling of processed sweet potato products as well as partner assistance.
