PENGOLAHAN IKAN BANDENG MENJADI PRODUK NUGGET DAN BAKSO DI DESA KABBA

The population problem that requires attention in Kabba Village was in the fisheries sector. Kabba Village was located in Minasatene District, Pangkajene dan Kepulauan Regency. Most of the population's livelihood was milkfish farming, so the partners of the Community Service Program (PKM) are milkfish farming housewives who are members of the Women Farmers (KWT Reformasi). The partner's current problem was that the ponds dry up quickly due to erratic weather conditions so that the milkfish was forced to be harvested before they reach harvest age. This causes the price of fish to plummet and even many are thrown away because they don't sell. The main objective of this program was to empower economically unproductive people by processing the milkfish into meatball and nugget products so that they can make an economic contribution to partners. The specific target to be achieved was the formation of UMKM in Kabba Village which can improve the community's economy. The output target of this PKM was nationally published scientific articles about milkfish processing so that they can be useful to the wider community. This activity will be carried out in 2 (two) forms of activities that are comprehensive, meaningful, complete and sustainable, namely socialization and training in the processing of milkfish into meatballs and nuggets.References
