PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN SISWA SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 3 TERHADAP CYBERBULLYING DI MEDIA SOSIAL

Abstract

The advancement of technology and information is an essential part of globalization that every nation experiences. Social media is now increasingly accessible to all communities, without restrictions or distinctions for any group. This allows everyone to express their thoughts to the public. However, access must be balanced with knowledge of ethical social media usage to avoid dangerous outcomes. The goals of this PKM program are to increase students' awareness of ethical social media usage, to increase their knowledge of cyber activities on social media, and to provide counseling on ethical norms when interacting on social media. The program implementation method includes conducting visits to target partners, conducting assessments, planning the program, implementing the program or activity, evaluating the activities, and creating reports. This PKM activity disseminates information about cyberbullying and how to handle it quickly, increasing students' awareness of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar to not engage in bullying actions.
