PEMBUATAN PAKAN FERMENTASI UNTUK TERNAK SAPI DARI LIMBAH PERTANIAN DI DESA TANETE KECAMATAN SIMBANG KABUPATEN MAROS

The majority of people in Tanete Village work as farmers and raise cattle. The cattle are only fed with raw straw or grass so that the growth of their cattle is very slow. One of the efforts to accelerate the growth of cattle is to process cattle feed by fermentation. The purpose of this Partner Village Development Programme is to provide solutions to the problems faced by providing counselling and training on how to make fermented feed from agricultural by-products such as straw, bran, and leaves: straw, bran, and cassava leaves. The method used in this programme is to socialise the benefits and how to make fermented feed for cattle. The stages carried out in this activity are: giving an explanation of the benefits of fermented feed for cattle and an explanation of how to make fermented feed, practice making fermented feed, giving fermented feed to cattle. The results of the service activities that have been carried out show an increase in the knowledge and skills of partners in processing agricultural by-products of cattle feed. The increase in knowledge and skills of partners during the implementation of the programme reached up to 90%.
