Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic country with a strategic plan for developing a maritime-based economic sector that is integrated with blue economy principles. Improving the quality of people's living standards is a central issue for sustainable development. Tilapia cultivation is a competitive advantage for the community through hatching and alternative feed management. The level of community understanding in making alternative feed is the focus of the problem in this community partnership service activity. Optimizing the role of society as a representation of economic independence needs to be a novelty goal and value that must be achieved in order to realize the ideals of a blue economy that supports national economic development through the maritime sector. The development of science and technology for the community (IBM) skills of farmer groups cultivating superior tilapia seeds with alternative feed in Sumber Sari village, Sebulu sub-district, Kutai Kartanegara district is carried out by providing assistance to strengthen alternative feed management and providing stimulation in the form of strategies in dealing with the threat of crop failure and others.
