PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN MEJA BELAJAR DARI KARTON DAN BOTOL BEKAS (ecobricks) BAGI REMAJA MESJID NURUL TAQWA SAWANGI DESA PATTALLASANG

Abstract

Cleanliness of a mosque environment is generally the responsibility of the community, mosque administrators and youth. However, often after religious activities there is still rubbish left behind which is not cleaned immediately even though a rubbish bin has been provided. Untreated plastic waste and organic waste greatly disrupt religious activities in general. This activity aims to increase public awareness, especially mosque youth, about the importance of waste management around mosques and improve skills in utilizing cardboard and plastic bottle waste into valuable and useful products. The method used in this activity is a lecture about plastic waste and the practice of using cardboard and plastic bottle waste to make study tables. Partners in this activity are members of the Nurul Taqwa Sawagi Mosque Youth Group, Pattallassang Village. This program gives skills how to produce products from used cardboard and plastic bottles in the form of study tables and desks for studying and reciting the Quran. The output of this activity is improved awareness about the cleanliness of the surrounding environment as well as increasing the skills of target group in managing plastic waste into ecobriks and utilizing them into useful products.
