Abstract

The issues faced by our partners include the very low quality of frozen crab products, increasing production costs, and the difficulty in determining sales profits. The first problem stems from the non-implementation of occupational health and safety (K3) principles in the production process of frozen shrimp. The second problem is attributed to a sudden increase in the basic electricity tariff from the national electricity company (PLN), leading to higher electricity costs due to the use of lighting, fans, and freezers for crab storage. The proposed solutions to address these issues involve providing training on the implementation of K3 principles in crab production, the adoption of solar power technology (PLTS), and training on bookkeeping, daily recording, and determining the cost of sales. The implementation method includes constructing specific components and assembling them into Appropriate Technology (TTG) according to the established design. Subsequently, training will be provided to partners on the operation and maintenance procedures of freezers and PLTS machines that will be handed over to them. Additionally, training and mentoring will be given on the implementation of K3, bookkeeping, daily recording, and determining the cost of sales.
