UPAYA PENCEGAHAN PENANGANAN KEKERASAN SEKSUAL PADA MAHASISWA JURUSAN AKUNTANSI POLIMDO

Abstract

Sexual violence in universities often occurs, where the perpetrator is someone the victim already knows. However, the perpetrators are still free to move because there are no clear regulations to provide a deterrent effect on the perpetrators. The aim of Community Service is outreach in order to provide understanding and overcome sexual harassment in the campus environment, in accordance with Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 30 of 2021 concerning Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in the Higher Education Environment. The implementation method used is direct socialization, namely socialization activities carried out directly, involving students and designed in the form of lectures and questions and answers with students. Steps for implementing service, initial survey, determining partner problems, socialization, evaluation of implementation and preparation of activity reports. The results of the service stated that students felt very happy and they enthusiastically asked about sexual violence. Socialization on the Prevention of Handling Sexual Violence can help students to report to leadership if there is sexual violence committed by lecturers or fellow students. As a result of this outreach, students are aware and afraid of committing sexual harassment because there are heavy administrative sanctions for perpetrators of sexual violence.
