The objective to be achieved from the research is to implement the operation of an offgrid system Solar Power Plant (PLTS) installation to meet the electricity needs for lighting loads and submersible water pumping machines that operate without dependence on PLN electricity supply so as to reduce operational costs at laying hen farmers. The research method is carried out in a design and experimental manner which will be emphasized on design, performance testing, and evaluation. The research was conducted in stages, starting with the design of solar panel construction and electrical installation, followed by performance testing and ending with evaluation of results and implementation. The design of the solar panel holder construction is in accordance with the standard tilt angle and the electrical panel box, followed by the installation of electrical installations that are adjusted to the position of the placement of lighting loads. The off-grid Solar Power Plant is implemented in the laying hen farmer building using 2 solar panels with a capacity of 100Wp, 12V/100Ah batteries and a 500 Watt inverter, and has met the electricity needs for lighting the laying hen farmer building.
