Hubbuddin Mosque, near Carrefour Transmart Tamalanrea in Makassar, was constructed around 2005. It hosts daily prayers and Friday congregational prayers, mainly attended by Transmart and Mall M'Tos employees and passersby. With a 100-person capacity, the mosque stands on a 250 square meter land. Local residents longed for the mosque's construction, but limited funds delayed the project. To address this, a community initiative named "Painting the Walls of Hubbuddin Mosque in Makassar" was launched under the Community Partnership Program (PKM). The program aims to (a) Improve the mosque's appearance, both inside and out. (b) Shield it from water, UV rays, fungi, dust, and dirt with plastering.(c) Enhance worshippers' comfort during religious activities. This painting project is expected to boost faith, turning the mosque into a hub for religious and community activities. The program spans 8 months with an estimated budget of Rp. 10,000,000.
