Abstract

As a maritime and archipelagic country, Indonesia has an excellent opportunity to become the world's maritime axis. Therefore, knowledge of marine affairs is essential to support achieving this goal, given Indonesia's rich marine resources. Maritime insights must be introduced since childhood to accelerate development in coastal and archipelagic areas by maximising existing advantages. One way can be done is through legal counselling on maritime insights for elementary school students, including introducing the song "Nenek Moyangku," which many grade VI students do not know. Implementing this service includes observing and identifying problems, counselling, and evaluation. The goal is to give elementary school students a basic understanding of maritime affairs. The results of this activity show that elementary school students already know about the sea, the size of Indonesia's sea area, the introduction of Indonesia as an archipelago and maritime country, various marine resources, how to conserve the sea, introduction to different types of fish and ships
