PERAN PEMBIMBING AKADEMIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI AKADEMIK MAHASISWA

This study aims to examine the role of academic advisors in student achievement, focusing on three main aspects: accessibility, academic guidance, and contribution to learning motivation. Based on the results of a student survey, 63.2% of respondents stated that their academic advisors were easy to contact, indicating a good level of accessibility and supporting an effective and professional mentoring relationship. Furthermore, 78.6% of students assessed that their academic advisors performed their role optimally in providing constructive guidance for academic achievement. Furthermore, 71.4% of students felt academically and psychologically motivated by the motivation provided by their academic advisors. These findings indicate that academic advisors play a significant role in supporting student academic success, both through easy communication access, providing appropriate guidance, and strengthening learning motivation. This study recommends strengthening the academic advisory system in a more structured manner to improve the overall quality of higher education.
