Abstract

The success of a supervisory ship docking project is affected by the effectiveness of cost and time management. This construction project has a contract of Rp698,000,000 with a duration of 40 days, but this project experienced a schedule mismatch for 4 days. EVA is used to measure and evaluate project progress by comparing plan costs, actual costs, and physical progress. The analysis was conducted twice to determine the condition of the project during the construction period. In the first review, the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) value of 0.98 indicated the project was slightly behind schedule, while the Cost Performance Index (CPI) of 1.24 signaled cost efficiency due to lower expenditures than budget. The second review showed an SPI of 0.99 and a CPI of 1.33, so the project was behind schedule but cost efficiency was better. The estimated cost to complete the remaining work is IDR 525,781,567. Thus, the application of EVA facilitates project monitoring and helps the company maintain cost efficiency and timeliness of completion.
