KESIAPAN ANAK USIA SEKOLAH MENUJU GENERASI EMAS 2045 MELALUI EDUKASI MAKANAN SEHAT DAN BERGIZI

The development of superior human resources is the main key in realizing the golden generation of 2045. School-age children are a strategic group that has great potential to be developed early on, especially through the formation of healthy and nutritious food consumption habits. Education about healthy and nutritious food has an important role in shaping consumption behavior that supports optimal growth and development. The purpose of this study was to identify the readiness of school-age children in welcoming the Golden Generation 2045 through a healthy and nutritious food education approach. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with the type of post-test experimental approach, while for the collection of respondents using minimal sampling. Data collection was done through interviews. The results of the study obtained from 872 respondents showed 324 respondents consumed fruits and vegetables, 593 respondents realized the role of nutritious food, 527 respondents felt they had consumed healthy food, 247 respondents had an interest in learning about healthy and nutritious food and 419 respondents got information about healthy and nutritious food. Judging from the results that the condition of healthy and nutritious food received by school-age children is still not fulfilling even though almost half of the respondents are aware of the role of healthy and nutritious food. The conclusion of this study shows that school-age children have the following.
