This community service program was carried out in Suak Village, South Lampung, with the aim of empowering the PEKKA through training in the processing of banana flour-based products. The activity involved educational sessions, counseling, hands-on training, and direct practice in producing innovative food products such as banana flour-based cakes and cookies. The program sought to increase participants’ knowledge, skills, and economic independence by utilizing local agricultural commodities into products with higher economic value and longer shelf life. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge. The average pre-test score was 50, indicating a low level of initial understanding of food processing techniques. After the training, the post-test average score increased to 100, with 95% of participants achieving excellent results. This finding proves that practical-based training is highly effective in transferring knowledge and skills to rural communities, especially women farmers. In conclusion, this activity successfully improved the capacity of PEKKA members to transform agricultural products into innovative food commodities that have the potential to generate income and strengthen family welfare. Moreover, the program supports the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of poverty reduction, gender equality, and sustainable economic growth.
